Testimonials

“I just recently came across several of Shane's on-line lessons and have really benefited from the way he breaks the song down to the simple melody notes and then builds up increasingly complex breaks, all of which would be suitable for a break during a jam session--which is what I enjoy doing. I am already using the techniques he illustrates to build up breaks on other songs.”

Jerry - Online Student

“Shane is a tasteful reso picker who has put together well prepared lessons (tabs and tracks) and has a knack for explaining how we can apply these new licks and techniques in our own playing as we move forward. Good stuff!”

Larry - Athens, Ohio

“I found it difficult to find anyone that gives lessons for the Dobro........your online lessons are very good..........I'm a beginner and most of the stuff out there is way too advanced.........so keep up the good work!!”

“First, I am seventy nine years old. It has been a lifelong dream to be able to play music with others. I have tried banjo-guitar and have purchased a ton of lessons, but to no avail. I just couldn't click with their method of teaching, it was not till I found your lessons on Dobro a short time ago, and some how your method of slow and methodical teaching clicked. I am happy to say one year later I am now playing with a small group at nursing homes. Thank You So Much!” - Dave - Florence S.C
